Alone Time in My Marriage
August 26th, 2010 Ms Bitch Today marks three weeks that my husband has been out of state. We live in Chicago and he’s in New York working for a temporary but indefinite amount of time. This isn’t the first time we’ve been apart for work or personal reasons. At one point in our marriage, we were away from each other for nearly six months. People are always shoked that we can be apart and stay happily married. I always tell them that we’re actually really married, not fake married. Which means that we can stay in love across state lines. Our relationship continues even if he leaves the zip code.

August 24th, 2010 Ms Bitch I’m gonna be honest with you guys: I don’t feel like writing a post today. It happens to the best of us. But I do feel like listening to Ceelo’s new song “Fuck You” again. This song is a lot like The Bitch Blog and The Bitch’s Guide to Love. It’s fun, it’s upbeat and it’s honest. Oh, and it’s riddled with curse words.
Bottom line? Sometimes, when things go bad in a relationship, you just have to say fuck you and move on with your life. So if you haven’t seen this video, (where have you been?) watch it and smile. And for those of you who have seen it, watch it for the millionth time and you smile too.

I’m one of those people who you either love or hate almost immediately. Of course, everybody has the right to change their mind based on their individual interactions with me later. But the fact is I have a big personality even I’m not trying and most people develop a strong opinion about me right away. It’s been this way all of my life, so I’ve learned to accept the fact that I’m not everybody’s cup of tea. And I don’t waste my time trying to convince everyone what’s so great about me.
